Rachel Kraemer enjoys seeing a child smile – even if she has to wait months or years to see it.
“Change doesn’t always happen overnight,” Rachel said. “It takes time for people to heal and trust and grow.”
Rachel is a clinical supervisor at Infinity Counseling Group, and has been in her position about a year. She started as a counselor and has since taken on more responsibility. Today, she helps other counselors document cases and oversees services.
In addition, she performs assessments on children and adults to recommend services. She enjoys doing home visits and teaching anger management classes to children 12 and younger.
“Each day, I face something new,” she said. “It’s very challenging but it’s worth it to see the work people put into changing their lives.”
Rachel is still growing as well. She recently completed her residency requirements and is waiting for the finalized paperwork as a licensed professional counselor.
